Below is the full content from the president's announcement:
Dear Team—
I know you all just wrapped up your gathering - I trust you’re as excited as I am with the recent updates. Previously I sent you all a update, I stated the following: “I am confident in this crew. You all are some of the most dedicated and creative developers we have had the chance to work with - and we’re excited for that relationship to continue.”
Given your hard work and versatility, especially over the last year, you consistently demonstrate that.
The player input from last autumn’s the game testing phase was enlightening. It affirmed the appeal of a roguelike shooter but indicated we still had improvements to make. It revealed the necessity for a more distinct identity.
It’s been inspiring to see how far you’ve progressed. You embraced the input to mind and overhauled the title with a renewed vision - one that’s positioned to achieve its ambition to our audience.
Our confidence in Project ETHOS increases every day. To further the outstanding advancement you’ve made, I am thrilled to announce Ben Brinkman as the latest Director of 31st Union. Following a period of conversations, Ben starts with us on next week.
His guidance and background in the PVP shooter genre is extensive, having dedicated the recent years developing and leading some of the most recognizable titles in the industry, such as Call of Duty: Black Ops, and lately, the battle royale hit.
Please join me in welcoming him soon. We are all looking forward to continue observing the development of Project ETHOS in the weeks to ahead.
David

Brinkman currently holds the position of executive producer and head of production at Respawn Entertainment for their flagship title. Game Details and Concept
Project Ethos was revealed in last year alongside a public demo. Initially, 31st Union presented the game as a "no-cost, third-person perspective roguelike hero shooter and an innovative advancement on the genre."
"Build your perfect run—or die trying—in this 3rd-person action shooter! Build your hero in real-time to fit your unique tactics," the official summary states. "Face the rivals with new abilities, challenges, and obstacles that shift every round. Do you withdraw carefully with your collected items? Or take a risk, risk it all, and hope your team can achieve the highest spot? The choice is yours."
The game lacks an official debut schedule or platforms, but enthusiasts can look forward to further news as production progresses.
